SITUATIONAL EVALUATION

1
We Asses:

Our professional staff will assess how each child is doing physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and academically

We Plan:

Once we have a clear understanding of each child’s needs we draft a plan of action.

We Meet:

We establish communication with the members of the family that serve as the support system to ensure that the details, technicalities and decisions are communicated with the right parties.

CASE MANAGEMENT

2
Once we know, understand and plan out what every child needs, the details of implementation need to be executed. Our professional staff will call, coordinate, hire and implement the exact plan of action proposed by the evaluation team.

LIAISONSHIP

3

We act as the communication switchboard for all parties involved in the child’s wellbeing. Because when parents are divorced there is no one person that will take complete responsibility for the child. We become that person that the school calls, the mother calls, the father calls, the grandparents call and the providers call. This ensures that all parties are on the same page, coming together as a unit.

ADVOCACY

4

Children need to be advocated for. And when there is no united front for the child, this can fall through the cracks. We become the child’s advocate, fighting, urging and cajoling when we feel the child is being overlooked or unfairly treated.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

5

We have a dedicated team of trained volunteers that work closely with the children, serving as listening ears to whom they can openly express their thoughts and feelings. Through meaningful conversations and learning sessions, our volunteers serve as mentors, offering guidance, empathy, and emotional support to help these children navigate the challenges they may face. With their expertise and compassionate approach, our team is committed to empowering each child and fostering their emotional well-being.

LEV CENTERS

6

What children need most is the stability and security of a home. That’s what the Lev Centers provide. Located in every city the Lev Centers are where the children come after school to eat supper, to do their homework, to find a listening ear, to play and most of all, to feel secure that they have a place that will be there for them no matter what is happening on the home front.

FINANCIAL AID

7

Children need new things at the start of every season. Which is why every child gets a prefilled gift card before every Yom Tov so they can purchase whatever they need at that given time. In addition to this we sponsor school supplies and new clothing at the start of the school year and provide pocket money at times when children expect to receive it such as on Chanukah, on Purim and before camp.

Although Lev L’Yeled won’t take on the astronomical cost of supporting every family financially, in the event of a financial emergency, they will step in and fund what is needed. Like the time when a Bar Mitzva boy had no tefillin or the school refused to pick up the child without tuition. The fund is there for when there is no other option.
